    据加拿大卫生部消息，3月4日加拿大卫生部发布公告，修订添加剂列表，批准苹果酸氢钠（Sodium Hydrogen Malate）作为被膜剂用于部分食品。
    据了解，目前加拿大已对苹果酸氢钠作为被膜剂进行评估，安全性符合要求，因此批准其用于口香糖、无糖饮料、糖果与明胶甜点粉。

    Health Canadas Food Directorate completed a detailed safety assessment of a food additive submission seeking approval for the use of sodium hydrogen malate in an unstandardized flavouring preparation to be used in chewing gum, dry beverage mixes, unstandardized confectionery and gelatin dessert powders.
    As no safety concerns were raised through this assessment, it is the intention of Health Canada to enable this food additive, as described in the information document. The purpose of this communication is to publically announce the Departments intention in this regard and to provide the appropriate contact information for any inquiries or for those wishing to submit any new scientific information relevant to the safety of this food additive.
